The WMS 40 Mini instrumental systems features AKG’s unique HDAP (High Definition Audio Performance) technology ensures the best possible, most realistic sound at any time. The system includes an SR 40 MINI receiver, a PT 40 MINI pocket transmitter, a MKG L instrument cable, a universal power supply with US/UK/EU adapter, and one AA size dry battery.
The SR 40 Mini receiver provides three status LEDs indicating ON/OFF status, received signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP). The VOLUME control sets the level at the ¼" output jack. The supplied switched mode power supply operates on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 VAC and includes EU, UK, and US adapters.
The PT 40 Mini bodypack is probably the smallest and lightest transmitter in its class. A reliable mini XLR output allows you to connect every compatible AKG miniature microphone. A single AA size battery will do to power both the transmitter and a condenser microphone connected to it. Battery life of the transmitter is the same legendary "30 hours off a single AA battery" as for the WMS 40 models, reducing the need to replace batteries and thus saving real money in the long run.

Warranty is valid for AKG products purchased and delivered within the United States for the original purchaser only. I gave the AKG WM40 a chance because I liked the way it was built and it seemed like a good replacement for the Samson Stage 55 Wireless that died after 4 years of use.
I have done at least five shows with it, 2 outdoor shows where I would walk out in a range of at least 75 feet without any drop out whatsoever.
Good, Juicy sound without any loss of tone. The AKG WM40 is well worth the money spent.
Used it at a gig on a big stage with full sound and lights. I was able to roam / jump around on stage with no cutouts or tonal changes. Very happy with it. It's a great budget wireless for the money. The small transmitter fits great on my guitar strap and doesn't get in the way.
bought this for my bass guitar and was worried about signal loss and after i set it up all the worries were gone. the main reason i got it was to be able to walk around and check the sound coming out of our pa cause i play alot of shows using our own pa. now i'm moving around on stage more and my band doesn't look like a bunch of zombies standing in one place for the entire gig. never thought i would ever use a wireless system because of how expensive the good ones are but for $100 you will never beat this product ever.
