The Behringer AMP800 MiniAMP Stereo Headphone Amplifier boasts 4 totally independent stereo high-power amplifier sections. You can use the phones level control plus the accurate 6-digit LED output meter per channel for easy level monitoring. There are 2 balanced stereo main inputs with independent Level and Balance controls for individual mixes, selectable for all 4 headphone amplifiers. An accurate 6-digit LED main input meter is provided for precise level indication of both line inputs. Dual headphone outputs on each channel on front and rear panel allow for connecting a total of 8 headphones at the same time. A parallel Link Output enables cascading several headphone amplifiers. The amplifier guarantees long-term reliability with the high-quality potentiometers and illuminated switches, and ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers offer outstanding sound performance. In addition, all Mini Series audio processors from Behringer can be stacked on top of each other to create an ultra-compact signal processing solution.

Worth the Money

This package is overall a great deal for the money. The amp and headphones are great for practicing with a band live. the amp allows you to control the volume of the mixes in each headphone so as well as the balance which is great for hearing other instruments in the band more clearly depending on placement of mics. By using this the headphones it also allows you to be able to practice at a lower volume not to disturb others living at your place or practice or near you which still sounding just as loud in your headphones. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and have an automatic adjustment band so they go on anyone's head easily. The chord is quite long allowing a lot of moving room. Good sound quality. Good for group recordings. Don't wear headphones too close to an active mic for recording because the open back leaks out a lot of the sound which would be picked up. Both products are made from a light weight plastic and I fear for the actually durability for both products involved for they seem as though they may be fragile and may break easily if dropped. But you should always take good care of your gear anyway. For the money and many purposes you practically can not beat this deal.

Saves me from a $250 Fine!

After the 2nd time the police showed up at my house for a noise complaint for the Xbox 360 game "Rock Band 2", my wife and I decided something needed to be done. I immediately started looking into a headphone solution. I had very specific requirements. 4 headphones, Good sound, Output directly from a line out on my home theater receiver (not headphone jack), independent headphone volume control, and independent control of volume on the receiver. After looking at many solutions, both wireless and wired, I decided to buy this kit. I didn't make a mistake. The sound is great, the independent volume control is awesome and I don't have to stock up on batteries for wireless.
