Pretty good product. I purchased this not so long ago and was amazed at how well it is able to keep the surrounding sound out. Very crsip and clear sounds is produced. Would definitely recommend.

  • Not so good

As reviewed by Jonas Wasilco on 12/12/2012

I was going to use these for mixing and mastering a few tracks. I know its not prime to use headphones for that. However I have limited space and I thought I could get some decent headphones for cheaper than I could get decent monitors. For what these are selling for they are very disappointing. For one, even though they block out noise well, they are really uncomfortable. Lastly they just don't really sound that good. I thought my mixes might have just been bad, but I turned on a professionally mixed and mastered track and it still sounds bad. Way too much overpowering treble. Details come through clear but nothing is balanced correctly. The build quality is okay, and the replaceable cables are a good feature. However my AT M30s sound better more accurate than these and are certainly more comfortable.

  • AKG K171 M II Studio Headphones

As reviewed by Stephen Siers on 3/13/2012

Upon opening the box I was impressed how well they looked with the optional ear pads and choice of two cable lengths. As I placed them on my head the first thing I noticed was how tight they were with not much adjustment room. My head size is normal so it makes me wonder if it was any bigger the headphones may feel uncomfortable and not completely cover my ears. The sound quality on the other hand was excellent and they really do eliminate any outside noise. As far as the fit, I believe after a few times wearing them they will become a little more flexible and become a 5 stars rating.
