If you have an upper-register voice (sopranos and tenors) this is an excellent stage condenser and far better than the Shure SM87. James Taylor uses this mic live, and the only thing above it in condensers that I know of are the Neumanns. The proximity effect is very limited allowing you to get up real close and still have that condenser sizzle on top. Decent feedback rejection and isolation as well. Reliable and solid.
