The AKG C 4000 B Stage & Studio Condenser Microphone is a true large-diaphragm mic that sounds perfect in the mix. Sounding similar to AKG's famous Solid Tube mic, The AKG C 4000 microphone uses a transistorized impedance converter/pre-amp instead of a tube circuit. Provides omni, cardioid, and hypercardioid polar patterns, all selectable on the mic. A transformerless output stage ensures low self-noise and accurate low-frequency response. Frequency range: 20Hz-20kHz. Impedance: 200 ohms. Maximum SPL for 0.5% THD: 145dB. Requires phantom power.
