The 3rd Power Dream Solo 4 22W tube guitar amp head produces superb guitar tones. The DS4 departs from using EL34 output tubes and instead relies on a pair of 6V6 tubes. The 6V6 tubes do a fantastic job delivering classic British Plexi flavors with 3rd Power's signature Mastered Tone approach. The result is a superb cut and low-mid punch that's able to go from clean to mean, making it perfect for the studio or stage.
A global Presence knob is the finishing touch to sparkling high end. The Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass controls offer further tweaking. With 3rd Power's proprietary volume management technology, HybridMASTER, you can record or perform with the Dream Solo Model 4 at any volume without sacrificing tone.

Comments about 3rd Power Amps Dream Solo 4 22W Tube Guitar Amp Head:
I've had this amp for about 8 months now, and it's just a phenomenal little powerhouse. I wanted a stripped down, simple Plexi-type amp with stellar tone and in a smaller, lightweight box. Got it! Spent almost a year researching video demos, features and companies...drove my wife crazy. The cleans are BEAUTIFUL (Fender who?), the old glassy plexi clean sound was the main reason I wanted this type of amp. The overdrive is the best I've ever used on an amp, although I usually have a mild-grit setting and use a couple of Wampler pedals for different gain types. The HybridMaster feature works exactly as advertised, as well. Very well-built and sturdy. The only thing I didn't realize about it beforehand was that the effects loop is not made for pedal-level signals, only for nicer rack gear. That being said, I haven't noticed any muddiness with mod and delay pedals running directly into the input (dark and musical but not muddy). I use it with an EVH 1x12 w/Celestion G12H30, and occasionally with a Carvin 4x12 w/Celestion V30s. Can get quite loud with both, obviously more so with the 4x12. I also mainly use humbuckers with it, but my strat with N3's is quite breathtaking at mild-OD settings! I wish I had bigger gigs to play so I had an excuse to buy a second one and run stereo.
