A two-channel combo with HybridMASTER.
The 3rd Power American Dream tube guitar combo amp was designed from the ground up for players who are drawn to the distinctive sounds that came out of Fullerton, CA in the early and mid '60s. Channel one is based on the '62 Brownface. Paired with P-90s or humbuckers, it only takes a little elbow grease to send it into a complex tweed style breakup. Channel two is based on the '65 Blackface and has an uncanny ability to stylistically travel wherever your pedalboard will take you.
Individual channel levels are handled by separate volume controls. Precise volume levels are handled by 3rd Power's patent pending HybridMASTER control located on the rear panel.
Further sonic detailing is made possible via the SwitchBACK enclosure design. Notably, players can choose the sound and feel of an "open back" or "closed back" cab by way of a removable trangle port lid. Greatly enhancing the vintage experience, the enclosure construction creates individual compartments for the speaker, preamp tubes and power tubes. The isolation keeps the combo free from the rattles and buzzes that are found in so many combos.
