Fender American Standard Hand-Rubbed Ash Stratocaster HSH Electric Guitar (107882276)

A well-equipped Strat with powerful pickups and an exclusive finish.

The American Standard Hand-Stained Ash Stratocaster HSH is a beautifully distinctive and supercharged new take on Fender's most popular guitar. For this sleekly special and tonally dynamic model, they've given the time-honored American Standard Stratocaster an ash body with a gorgeous hand-rubbed stain beneath a satin-lacquer finish. Its versatile HSH configuration places an American Standard Stratocaster single-coil middle pickup between powerful new Twin Head humbucking neck and bridge pickups.

  • Best Strat I Have Played Or Owned

As reviewed by Joseph Constantine on 12/15/2012

This is hands down the best strat I have played or owned period. Extremely versatile and balanced sound. You can get a crunching or heavy humbucker tone, clean, or warm jazzy tones. Mixing the single coil and humbucking pickups produces both clarity and warmth at the same time in a very musical, blended manner. I can't say enough about this guitar. I have owned many guitars over the years, some of them excellent, but there is something special about this limited edition beauty. I would say get one while they last! Can't believe I'm not hearing more about this guitar! I would guess many are skeptical about the hsh configuration (as I was at first) but really, once I played it at GC, I don't know how I ever tolerated the SSS or other traditional set ups all of this time!
