Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar (583405)
Availability:

Gibson Les Paul performance with a modern features and a no-frills attitude.

The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series.

The Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar raises the bar with the cutting-yet-rich tone of a 490R humbucking pickup in the neck position and a BurstBucker Pro humbucking pickup in the bridge position, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. Controls include dual volume and push/pull tone controls to engage coil-splitting for an array of tones, and a 3-way toggle switch, hardware is finished in chrome including Grover tuners and Gibson's pioneering Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

The Les Paul Studio Deluxe is dependable and affordable — and is built without any compromises. The Gibson Les Paul comes with a hardshell case and a limited lifetime warranty.

  • Amazing customer service.

As reviewed by Tom on 2/10/2011

Went to pick up my strat from the tech and saw this on the wall. Decided to give it a shot and it sounded amazing. Noticed that the pickup rings were warped. Not only did they change them but they gave me a bit off the price as well. Had the gutar fixed up in less than an hour. Great service.

  • Best sounding guitar ever?

As reviewed by Michael Kleiman on 9/5/2010

I already gave this a 5 star review, but recently I bought a tube amp, and I started playing this acousticly while the tube was warming up, I noticed that it sounded amazing, better then my acoustic guitar, though not as loud. This guitar is just perfect, and the burstbucker and 490r are a great combo, giving great distinction between the 3 settings.

  • Best Les Paul Value

As reviewed by Mr Mellow on 5/7/2011

I have owned about 10 different LP's over the past few years & from that knowledge I determined that some of my "gotta haves" were: 1. Slim tapered 60's neck - check 2. Burstbucker Pro in Bridge - check 3. Good Neck Pickup - check (490R is a fine one) 4. Grovers! - check 5. Nice Finish - check 6. Reasonable Price - check (relatively) 7. Hard Shell Case - check (any good guitar should have one) 8. Weight Relieved, NOT Chambered - check Some my "nice to haves" are: 1. Binding - nope, but the tones are nicer than my Standard Traditional and the price is about half. If you're shopping list is like mine - buy it. All the other studio's are chambered and don't look nearly as nice. I play heavy rock & blues and this guitar suits my style to a tee.
