Sweet Guitar!!!
This thing is undoubtedly the sweetest guitar I've ever played. Everything from the looks to the feel to the sound is beautiful. The thing comes loaded with gold hardware, neck thru body, a variety of sweet finishes, compound radius neck with awesome inlays, and an amazing bride. This axe looks stunning with the great design and deluxe features. Going beyond the looks, it plays like an absolute dream. The neck is thin and sleak and the entire guitar fits like a glove. The SD's sound as hot as the active EMG's in my other guitar, only with better cleans and a smoother sound for soloing. Everything about this guitar is perfect. It may be a bit pricey, but in this case, it's worth every cent you pay.

Jackson RR5
The Jackson RR5 would be a great addition to someones rig. Even though this guitar is geared more toward heavier, more aggressive styles of music, you can still get pretty good sounds out of this that will fit your needs.

Almost worth it
For style, nothing beats this guitar. Overall, I think it's a bit pricey, given the basic features (plastic pickup rings on a $1200 guitar?). One thing I was surprised about was the bridge. The strings on the treble side bend over the back of the bridge in addition to the saddles, making it more difficult to stay in tune; tension can vary. I find it easy to play sitting down, provided you use a more classical style of holding the guitar. My Ibanez RGT42 had better fret access; the v body meets the neck at about the 17th fret, where the v spreads out. The neck profile is good for shredding, but comfortable for long jams. The pickups are decent, the bridge has great pinch harmonics, but is too trebly and mid-scooped for my taste. Pickups lack character clean. The body cavities are surprisingly well shielded. In the end, if you can get a good price, or have some extra cash, buy this guitar. It has great presence, can handle a variety of styles and is a wonderful player.

Truely an amazing guitar.
The jackson RR5 is truely an amazing guitar. it has great looks, and great playability to it. great for playing really fast, or just insane riffs. the flaw in this guitar would have to be how hard it is to restring the guitar. but its pretty hard stringing any jackson guitar anyway. I would definately prefer this guitar to anybody who is looking for an amazing sound. !! !!

The Greatest Guitar To Be Made
This is the greatest guitar to have ever been made. I have used it for about 2 hours and i fell in love with it. Despite what most people say about not sitting down with it, you get used to it in about 15 minutes. I'm saving up to by me one of these metal master guitars.

Plays like a dream
I played this through a marshall dsl 100. Awesome sound. and one of the other reviewers mistakingly claim theres a duncan distortion in bridge and jazz in neck....WRONG. it has two JB-4's check jackson's site as proof. ANYWAY, It is a bit of a pain sitting down because of the postion in which you must hold it, but you do get used to it. The guitar is more beautiful in person if you get the chance to see it. If you are interested in buying one, inspect it closely, as the one I played had some dings in it from other careless testers. Especially check the corners of the "V" areas. I will be saving up for one of these to go with my new Marshall JVM 410H.

My new love.
I played this Guitar at my local Guitar Center, and fell in love with it instantly. The neck is slender and easy to maneuver your fingers over. Beautiful and full sound. Not to mention, it just looks frickin' awesome. Only setback for myself is you can't remove the gold pick guard. Otherwise, it's perfect.

FUCKIN AWESOME
the first time i ever saw this guitar i went insane.....i picked it up and played it for a good half hour or so....i just didnt want to put it down...it has one of the greatest metal tones i have heard in a guitar and it is super easy to lay out crazy fast riffs because of the way the fretboard curves....overall i give ths guitar a ten and i highly recommend getting this guitar if u want something with amazing quality abd sustain.

SOUNDS LIKE CLASSIC OZZY
I plugged it into a Marshall and played the beginning of Crazy Train. With the Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup in the neck pos, and the Duncan Distortion at the bridge, the sound is as close as you can get to Randy Rhoads' unique sound. Playability was great with the rather wide, flat fretboard. Holding these guitars is always the challenge with the flying V shape.

Whoa Baby
When I first saw this online, I went nuts. You can move so damn fast on this guitar, it's amazing. No wonder Randy Rhoads loved it soo much.
It's really good for the 80's rock music.
