Bring a flat-sounding, bedroom-bound guitar to life.

The Tonebug Reverb from T-Rex is a stunning reverb pedal built with one goal in mind: bring life to dry, flat-sounding, bedroom-bound guitar playing. The Tonebug Reverb pedal simulates real-life performance environments, from huge echoing concert halls and modern-sounding live stages to raunchy clubs and basement dives. But no matter what setting you choose, the Tonebug Reverb delivers loads of incredible T-Rex tone will keep you sounding like the best of them.

What makes the Tonebug Reverb such a versatile stompbox is its clever dual-mode feature. The mode switch lets you go from Modern's more contemporary reverb sounds to Spring for a world of vintage reverb that sounds almost too authentic to be true. The T-Rex Tonebug Reverb is really like having two separate peals in one.

  • Not bad.

As reviewed by luke. on 6/6/2010

This is a good sounding reverb unit. It gives you two types of reverb - modern and spring. Both settings can go from very light subtle sounds to huge overwhelming reverb sounds. I've used this pedal for about a month now and can say that I wish it had a little more tweakability. Nice pedal if you're looking for something super simple.

  • Good Little Reverb Pedal

As reviewed by Blaine on 6/20/2010

The Trex Tonebug Reverb pedal is well buit and delivers 2 different reverb flavors. Modern and Spring. My amps don't have reverb built-in so I was lookig for an affordable add-on. I like the modern setting - it creates a nice deep reverb. But the spring setting is not deep enough for my taste and when the depth is turned up you loose some volume. Thus some of the more expensive pedals include a tone boost - which makes up for this loss. The modern setting though is really nice and this is a heavy well built pedal. Highly recomended. For the spring reverb - I went out and purchased a Chicklet by Malekko which is a really nice spring sound with lots of depth and no volume drop out as the depth increases. I also use a WayHuge AquaPuss. On the front side of these 3 I use a Catalyst Pedal and a FullDrive 2 by Fulltone. With this setup I can get as much distortion, drive and reverb I need. I run this into a Blackstar Artisan bridged with a Peavey Delta Blues (2x10). This setup really sings and all from Guitar Center with the exception of the Malekko Pedal - which I wish they would carry.
