The new Vintage Series Gibson J-185 is a replica of the Traditional 1950's model with its Maltese cross bridge wing inlays. Features a Jumbo style body with Flame Maple back and sides for a wonderfully resonant sound. Solid premium Sitka spruce top on AAA flame maple back and sides produce wonderful resonance with tonal integrity.
Beautiful Guitar and awsome sound only problem I see is Gibson is very sloppy on their neck angle, making a neck job a real possibility. For the money you would expect more effort here. martin had the same problem but improved their quality control. I own several Gibsons and do not see a consistency in their quality control. Their name may not always get them over the speed bumps. Especially if they repeat their performance from 69 to 82. If you censor my observation I will take it as a termination of our business. Thanks
